Chinese gadget maker Xiaomi
Inc has become the world's second largest seller of wearables,
according to a new report. Xiaomi shipped 2.8 million devices during the
quarter, accounting for 25 percent of the total shipments of wearables,
IDC said in a report.
Fitness Tracking allows users to chat with personal health coaches, nutritionists, etc and is powered by the HealthifyMe app in which Micromax had recently invested.
Priced at Rs 999 in India, the Band focuses on user's health by helping them track their fitness and sleeping routine. It also features Bluetooth wireless connectivity to pair with smartphones.
The Mi Band monitors your fitness and tracks your sleep. It features a Bluetooth chip and accelerometer. The Mi Band can be powered for 30 days on one charge, claims Xiaomi. It can also double up as an alarm clock and can be paired it to unlock your phone without a password.
Available colors are Blue, Pink, Brown, Black, Purple and Grey.
